Senator from Argentina to Speak on Latin American Economy at the MacMillan Center

March 1, 2007. New Haven, CT - Rodolfo H. Terragno, a senator in the National Congress of Argentina and Vice-President of the Senate Commission on Foreign Relations, will give a lecture at Yale on March 7, 4:30 p.m., in Room 202 of Luce Hall, 34 Hillhouse Avenue.

Sponsored by the Council on Latin American and Iberian Studies of The MacMillan Center, the talk will address the present and future of the Latin American economy.

Terragno, who represents the city of Buenos Aires in the Argentine Senate, is a lawyer and journalist, with a number of publications on politics and development in Latin America to his credit.

The talk is free and open to the public. There will be an opportunity to meet Senator Terragno prior to his talk at 3:30 p.m. in the Common Room of Luce Hall.
