With generous support from the Joshua G. Dick and Kristin E. Krebs-Dick Fund, along with contributions from other donors, the MacMillan Center provides up to $20,000 in funding for faculty members to incorporate international travel into their courses.
The Course Travel Abroad grant empowers faculty to design courses that connect classroom learning to the broader world, deepening students’ academic engagement and global awareness.
Recent student travel experiences have included:
- A weeklong trip to London, where students immersed themselves in the UK's legal landscape;
- Exploring history, identity, and migration in the Dominican Republic;
- Delving into the art, culture, and landscapes of the Arctic.
Courses must be open to undergraduates. MacMillan will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year in early December 2025. Please return here for updates.
