Andrew Amstutz is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He received his PhD in South Asian history from Cornell University, and he recently was a member at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. His work addresses the intertwined histories of science, technology, and Muslim politics in modern South Asia as well as museums and public history debates. He has published articles in South Asia and Comparative Studies of South Asia, Africa and the Middle East
