About the Majlis
The South Asian Studies Council's student Majlis serves as a gathering point for graduate, professional, and undergraduate students across the university who are interested in the study of South Asia. Membership in the Majlis provides targeted opportunities to form connections with peers, guest speakers, and faculty through on- and off- campus events, along with other benefits.
The Majlis is primarily intended to serve as an intellectual community. Students may also be interested in joining one of Yale's many Student Organizations focused on South Asian cultural activities.
