REEESNe 2023 Faculty & Administrator Workshop

REEESNe announces its second annual Workshop for faculty and administrators, to be held for the first time in person in Spring 2023 at Colgate University. If you work at a college or university in the northeast and are a faculty or staff member, or are in an advanced stage of pedagogical training (postdoctoral fellow, graduate student instructor, Fulbright TA, etc.), we encourage you to attend and to register using our online form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfE79b7UhIDMCvGftPXZdI_QH-sK7-j…), where you can indicate preference for in-person or virtual attendance and apply for funding to cover the former.
Who Is Invited: Subsidized in-person attendance is offered to faculty/administrators in REEES fields at Northeast institutions (https://reeesnenetwork.yale.edu/members#programs) (others may attend virtually)
What to Expect: Sessions for workshopping curricular responses to Russia’s invasion of and war against Ukraine; discussions of common needs & problems; presentations of success stories from across REEESNe’s network; plenary and keynote sessions featuring Dr. Vitaly Chernetsky; and the planning of future REEESNe-sponsored initiatives to support programs in the NE.
