Our mission at the Central Asia Initiative is to promote a deeper understanding of Central Asia and its relations with neighboring regions and the wider world. We strive to advance knowledge and scholarship on the region’s history, politics, culture, and economy, and to engage with diverse audiences to foster mutual understanding and collaboration. Through innovative research, teaching, and outreach activities, we aim to cultivate a new generation of scholars and policymakers who are equipped to address the complex challenges facing Central Asia and the wider world. We are committed to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange, and to building bridges between academia, government, civil society, and the private sector.
