Members Only | Webinars Organizational Group
The Webinars Organizational Group develops and hosts career and educational webinars. While open to all, these webinars are primarily geared toward undergraduate and master’s students who are interested in furthering non-academic careers in REEES-related fields and/or who are interested in attending a REEES program at a network institution. The organizational group interfaces between invited guest speakers and the host institution to bring these engaging events to a diverse network of individuals and institutions. Currently contributing to the Webinars Organizational Group are faculty and administrators at Boston University, Bryn Mawr College, Fairfield University, Lehigh University, Middlesex Community College, New York University, Southern Connecticut State University, and the University of Maine. Members Only | Student Conference Organizational Group
The Student Conference Organizational Group coordinates an annual two-day student conference in REEES. Emphasizing student research/internship panels, career development, and cultural programming, this conference gives students the opportunity to engage with the REEES field in meaningful ways while networking with their student colleagues, as well as with a diverse group of faculty, administrators, and non-academic professionals who work in REEES fields. The organizational group works closely with host-institution support staff to develop the Spring-semester conference. Members Only | Faculty and Administrator Workshop Organizational Group
The Faculty and Administrator Workshop Organizational Group develops the program and logistics for an annual Spring-semester workshop that brings together faculty and administrators from REEESNe institutions. The goal of this workshop is to discuss exigent issues and concerns of the REEES field (program and course enrollment, innovative and inclusive pedagogy, and diversifying the field, among other topics), and to develop actionable plans to address these issues across REEESNe institutions and programs. Currently contributing to the Faculty and Administrator Workshop Organizational Group are faculty and administrators at Brandeis University, Columbia University, Franklin & Marshall College, Southern Connecticut State University, University of New Hampshire, and Wesleyan University. The Student Essay Competition Organizational Group develops and administers an annual student essay competition for undergraduate and master’s students attending REEESNe institutions.
