Bri Anderson
Bri is a member of the class of 2025 in Ezra Stiles college. She is pursuing a B.A. in Political Science. She is interested in studying the relationship between Italy, the EU, and rising populism. Bri is currently writing her senior thesis analyzing how the interplay between Italy's domestic politics, as well as structural economic features and EU fiscal policy directives, have culminated in the rise of Euroskepticism and populism. She became interested in this field of study after observing the fall of PM Mario Draghi's government while studying Italian language and culture in Siena, Italy.
Aside from her studies, Bri is involved in multiple student organizations at Yale. She served as Director of Mentorship at the Yale International Relations Association: Hemispheres, teaching local high schoolers about topics and careers in IR and politics. She is President of her sorority, the Zeta Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and she worked as a Research Administrator at the Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies. Before her time at Yale, Bri attained an Associate of Arts with distinction in Political Science from the University of North Georgia, concurrent with her high school diploma. There, she served as President of the Political Science Student Association and led the organization to its first Student Organization of the Year Award in its 25-year history.
