Emily Korzeniewski is PhD candidate in Music History. Emily’s dissertation, “Machaut’s Rhythms in a Changing Notational World,” continues work developed in her master’s thesis on the fourteenth-century poet-composer Guillaume de Machaut and the French mensural notation within his six complete-works manuscripts.
