Post-colonial studies; Russian imperialism and nationalism; 19th century Russian history and culture; Russian Far Eastern literature; Russian Modernism; cultural exchanges between Russia, China and Japan

Jiacheng Feng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Literatures and Cultures. His research focuses on the history, culture, and literature of the Russian Far East, with particular attention to Russia’s interactions with China and Japan. He previously earned an M.A. in Comparative Literature and World Literature from Tsinghua University.
