Ken Jung

I am an economics doctoral candidate interested in environmental issues and natural resources. My joint project with coauthors studies the effects of the European Union Emissions Trading System on the commercial airline industry. In particular, we examine how airplanes that are less fuel efficient are flown, retired, and traded inside and outside the EU's regulated boundaries, potentially leading to larger carbon emissions.
