My name is Makda, and I’m a junior in TD. I’m pursuing a double major in Global Affairs and History, and am very interested in global migration trends and genocide studies. As a fellow in the MacMillan Center's Mass Atrocities in the Digital Era program, I have had the chance to explore the influence of genocides and conflict on the development of modern European societies. Moving forward, I plan to continue exploring post-war societies throughout Europe, with an emphasis on the experiences of Eastern European migrants.
