Marnix Amand
Marnix Amand is a senior lecturer in economics with both the Yale Jackson School and the Economics Department. He teaches courses in macroeconomics and on the economics of European Union, including the recent crises. His current research is on international trade and the determinants of the firm size distribution.
 
Before joining Yale, Marnix was an assistant professor of Economics at the University of Lausanne, in Switzerland, and before that, he worked in various policy positions at the Dutch Central Bank, the Dutch Finance Ministry and France Stratégie, the French prime minister’s public policy think tank. Marnix holds dual Dutch and Belgian citizenship.
