Talin Tahajian

Talin Tahajian is a Ph.D. student in English at Yale University. She works on the late medieval English devotional lyric and its relationship to homiletics, continental and insular visionary literature, and practices of monastic reading, writing, and prayer. In particular, her research focuses on prosody, metrics, and lyric voicing in the Middle English variants of “O vos omnes,” “Respice in faciem Christi,” and “Candet nudatum pectus,” as well as lyricized, vernacular translations of the patristics in late medieval English Dominican and Franciscan preachers’ notebooks (c. 1250–1450).
