Event description: 

The ongoing “Freedom Convoy” trucker protests have become an international news story and a challenging moment for Canadians. Many had previously thought Canada was immune to populist movements of this sort, but the nation now faces border blockades, mass public disturbance in Ottawa, and fervent antigovernmental sentiment, while still desperately trying to escape the pandemic.
To think deeper about the causes and consequences of these protests, the Committee on Canadian Studies will be hosting a panel discussion featuring:
