CIRA@Yale Panel: “Ethics of HIV/AIDS Research and Practice among Vulnerable Populations Impacted by Humanitarian Crises”
Ethics are a critical foundation in providing equitable access to HIV prevention, treatment, and care. Conducting work in humanitarian settings can compound numerous ethical considerations for researchers and practitioners alike. These considerations include recognizing the different contexts of humanitarian crises such as armed conflict, natural disasters, forced migration, or mass incarceration and understanding how these crises may impact people with or at risk for HIV.
Join us on Zoom with a panel of researchers and practitioners as they discuss real-word examples and practical considerations of ethical issues related to HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and research.
