“Lives in transition: the health of indigenous peoples in Latin America” by Claudia Valeggia, Professor of Anthropology and Chair, Council on Latin American & Iberian Studies
Indigenous peoples in Latin America are going through drastic changes in their lifestyles and environments. How are those changes affecting their health and well-being? In this talk, I will share my 25+ years of experience working with some indigenous populations, particularly in northern Argentina.
Join us for the first session of our newly developed professional development series for New Haven public school teachers hosted in collaboration with the Yale Office of New Haven Affairs through its program “Feed Your Belly, Feed Your Head.”
