Nicolas Longuet-Marx is a sixth-year PhD student in Sustainable Development at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. His main research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, empirical industrial organization and environmental economics.

Prior to joining Columbia, Nicolas worked for the French Agency for Development (AFD) in Uzbekistan on Energy and Infrastructure projects. Nicolas holds a master’s degree from the Paris School of Economics, where he specialized in Public Policy and Development and a Bachelor from the Multidisciplinary Cycle of Paris Sciences et Lettres in Economics and Social Sciences.
