The South Asian Studies Council at The MacMillan Center offers Rustgi Fellowships for summer research grants to students with a demonstrated commitment to the field of South Asian studies. The general purpose of these grants is to increase understanding of the region among Yale students....

For undergraduate students who are doing summer research on South Asian Studies for their senior essays. All students are eligible to apply; however, preference will be given to South Asian Studies majors.

The South Asian Studies Travel Research Grant for Undergraduate students provides summer travel grants for Yale University undergraduate research on and study of South Asian history, society, languages, and culture in the United States and internationally.

Established to honor the legacy of Steven L. Clark, this fund supports international student research projects geared toward senior honors essays by Yale College Students. All undergraduate students are welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to senior essay research and to projects related to Latin America.

Invites applications to the Strong Family Travel Fellowship for Peace and Development. Grants of up to $1000 will be awarded to current students in Yale College to pursue independent research, as well as academic programs, internships related to study peace-building initiatives and/or economic development either during the summer or the academic year.

Invites applications to the Tristan Perlroth Prize competition. Grants will be awarded to current juniors in Yale College, or sophomores in exceptional cases, for summer travel outside the United States designed to enhance the student's understanding of foreign culture and/or international relations.

The MacMillan Center invites Canadian citizens enrolled in a doctoral program in the Yale Graduate School or in one of Yale’s Professional Schools AND Yale students of any citizenship planning on continuing their education at the doctoral level at a Canadian university to apply for the Trudeau Foundation Scholarship.
