Fox International Fellowship Postdoctoral Associate

The Fox International Fellowship program at Yale invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position for the academic year 2024-2025. Housed in the Yale MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies, the Fox International Fellowship is a graduate student exchange program between Yale University and 21 world-renowned academic partners. The goal of the Fox International Fellowship is to enhance mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries by promoting international scholarly exchanges and collaborations among the next generation of leaders. 

The Postdoctoral Associate will mentor Fox International Fellows at Yale, teach a weekly seminar for the Program, advise prospective applicants, serve on the Selection Committee, help the Fox Academic Director with designing and implementing the academic trainings for the fellows, as well as pursue their own research. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to be in residence during the appointment and take an active role in the activities of the program. The Postdoctoral Associate will spend fifty percent of his or her time working with the Program and the other fifty percent pursuing their own research.

This position is open to applicants from across the social sciences and humanities with a focus on transnationalism, international relations, and global affairs. Candidates must have completed their PhD by the time of the appointment. The position includes the possibility of renewal of an additional year, pending availability of funding and satisfactory evaluation of the first year of performance.
