Man Chuen Adrian Lo
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Adrian graduated from Yale College in May 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science and Literature, where he focused on political theory and postcolonial literature. While at Yale, he served as Speaker of the Yale Political Union and Chair of the Liberal Party, edited the Yale Review for International Studies and was involved with the World Fellows Program. Adrian has done research on human rights and national security, and translates Chinese legal cases for the China Guiding Cases Project at Stanford Law School. At Fudan, he will be conducting archival research on the reception of Western legal norms after the Opium War and more broadly the relationship between exporting rule of law and imperialism. In his free time Adrian also enjoys classical music, photography, and talking more about politics.
