Riddhi Kalsi

Riddhi Kalsi is a PhD student and an accomplished professional with a diverse background in economics and management. She is pursuing her doctoral studies at Sciences Po, Paris and is also a consultant at the World Bank. Riddhi’s thesis focuses on labor economics, with a particular emphasis on inclusive empirical analysis. Her current research in France delves into the underexplored intersection of privatization with the gender pay gap – specifically, that a majority, especially of women, that is presently working full-time in the public sector would earn lesser if forced to shift to private.

Riddhi holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Sciences Po, Paris. Prior to that, she worked at Harvard Business Publishing in an editorial capacity and as a management specialist. She graduated with a B.A. Honors in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.
She has held multiple teaching appointments in graduate-level Econometrics at Sciences Po. In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Riddhi has held several leadership roles and been the recipient of the Merit and commitment scholarship at the CIUP.
