Ruozhen Zhao

Zhao Ruozhen

Zhao Ruozhen is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University. She received both her B.A. in Politics and Public Administration and her M.A. in International Politics from University of International Business and Economics. She has been attentive to topics concerning the multi-stakeholder interactions in global governance. With a focus on this subject, she has published two relevant papers and actively engaged in the national-level research projects. She previously served as the Chinese delegate at the 11th China-Japan-Korea Youth Forum. Her research interests include the United Nations, international organizations, global governance, and global civil society in general. Her doctoral thesis intends to investigate the UN-NGO relation in the context of global governance, aiming to discuss the logic, patterns, and prospects of this global partnership. She was awarded the Chinese National Scholarship and was a fellow student of the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing University Center in 2023-2024.
