Elena Shih, an Assistant Professor in American Studies and Ethnic Studies at Brown University, received her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2015. She will discuss her current project, “The Price of Freedom: Moral and Political Economies of Human Trafficking in China, Thailand, and the U.S.”
