Fellowship Payment Info
Congratulations on your award! Please review the following information regarding the processing of your fellowship payments.
Please complete the following important next steps. Funds cannot be disbursed until all relevant steps have been completed.
1. Register your experience
Click this link to begin your Fellowship registration in Yale Compass (formerly MyCIPE).
Select Yale NetID Log In and log in using your Yale NetID and password.
Select the term of your activity.
Create an itinerary for each travel destination.
Click the “Apply” button to proceed. You will be taken to your registration homepage.
Complete and submit all required questionnaires and materials.
2. Sign up for Zelle using your YALE EMAIL ADDRESS
Award funds will be submitted for processing using the Zelle payment service.
If you have already set up Zelle using a non-Yale email address, you will need to add your Yale email address to accept your award payment.
3. If you are undertaking research involving human subjects, you may need to provide additional information
If you are conducting research involving human subjects, establish whether you need Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval or exemption.
Read more about Fellowships and the Institutional Review Board and submit your IRB application via the IRES application system.
4. For international students only
Important: International Students should ensure that
- their permanent address in Yale Hub is a US address and
- that their Sprintax Calculus is completed with the Yale International Tax Office. Failure to complete the Sprintax Calculus will result in payment delays.
When all the steps above are complete, we will be able to process your award. At that point, you will receive a notification and further instructions from Zelle or your bank on how to proceed.
Please note: Zelle payment requests will expire approximately 2 weeks after the initial notification is received, so be sure to monitor your email carefully, including your junk/spam folder.
If you would like to receive your award via check, please send an email to the grant administrator with your mailing address.
