Henrique Soares

Henrique Soares (he/him/they/them) is from Londrina and is a Portuguese Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant. They have a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching and Literature from the State University of Londrina. They are finishing a master’s degree in Comparative Literature, at the same institution, exploring the non-hierarchical relationship between humans and non-human beings against speciesism in poetry. Henrique seeks to share culture and forms of art from Brazil while teaching Portuguese language, focusing on Brazilian LGBTQIA+ artists.
