Kasturi Gupta

Kasturi Gupta has a joint appointment with the Yale MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies and the Office of International Affairs. As Director of Programs and Institutional Partnerships for South and Southeast Asian Studies at MacMillan, her work strengthens Yale’s long-term scholarly and programmatic undertakings including the development of close ties with regional universities. In her concurrent role with OIA, she is responsible for initiatives and partnerships related to the growth of Yale University’s presence in South and Southeast Asia. She has nearly two decades of experience in university administration and previously worked for several years in the public health sector in Mumbai. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Syracuse University and an MA from Pune University.
