Our work to date has included:
- Flipping the Model: Leveraging Academic Perspectives to Reinvent Multilateralism, a panel discussion during Climate Week NYC 2024
- An idea-sharing workshop with faculty members from the Schools of Architecture, Environment, Global Affairs, Law, Medicine, Public Health, and Arts & Sciences.
- Overcoming Global Gridlock: Regional Collaboration on Climate Action, a public event under the auspices of the Walker Lecture for Topics of Global Significance
Planned activities include for the 2025-2026 academic year include:
- September: the launch of a cohort of student fellows from Yale and partner institutions to develop a series of case studies about regional collaboration on topics including climate, migration, cities, and health.
- October: a reception featuring the nexus of water, climate, and justice in London.
- November: an on-campus poster session for students coinciding with COP-30
- Spring 2026: an academic climate leadership workshop in Cape Town
- Summer 2026: publication of the case studies developed by the student fellows.
