In this interactive session, Varun Grover discusses the forces, accidents, and choices that made him an active-observer of our times and lives. The talk - open to questions from the audience - muses upon the journey, responsibilities, and challenges of being a writer (for screen, standup comedy, and children’s fiction) in today’s fractured world.

Varun Grover is a screen-writer (Masaan, Sacred Games, Superboys of Malegaon), National Award winning lyricist (Gangs of Wasseypur, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Ankhon Dekhi, Fan, Udta Punjab), stand-up comedian, and short-story writer (short story collection Paper Chor and graphic novel Biksu) based in Mumbai.

His debut feature film as a director ALL INDIA RANK (2024) now streams on Netflix.

Varun is currently touring with his latest standup special NOTHING MAKES SENSE globally.
