On May 11, the Yale Institute for Global Health (YIGH) welcomed Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, to discuss the importance of ensuring equity in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic; the value and role of WHO in the world; and, the importance of re-engaging the United States in the global response with Dr. Saad Omer, Director, Yale Institute for Global Health.
