Sergei Tikhanovsky on Political Prisoners and the Future of Belarusian Opposition

Please join us at 4:30pm this Tuesday, November 18th in Luce Hall 101 as we welcome Sergei Tikhanovsky. Tikhanovsky is a Belarusian vlogger and opposition leader. In 2020 he was arrested for his role in organizing anti-government protests after an announcement of his own candidacy to challenge the sitting president Aleksandr Lukashenko. He was released this June, after 5 years in prison, alongside 13 other Belarusian political prisoners following a US diplomatic envoy visit to Minsk.
