Eleanor Womack is a second-year PhD student in the Slavic and Eurasian Literatures and Cultures program at Yale University. Her current work explores land and environment in Kazakh literature, with a particular interest in representations of radiation and nuclear violence. She holds an MA in Central Eurasian Studies from Indiana University, Bloomington.
