Richard Luo is a PhD student in the Linguistics Department at Yale University. His research focuses on the morphosyntax and semantics of languages spoken in the South Caucasus, with particular focus on members of the Kartvelian language family (e.g., Georgian). He has presented work at conferences on topics such as control theory, indefinites, scope, interrogative clause-typing, question particles, (anti-)rogativity, and clausal complementation. Before arriving at Yale, he completed his BA degree in mathematics and linguistics at Harvard University.
