Panel 3: Achieving Equality through Law and Advocacy
This discussion will feature the work of two graduate students who explore the challenges and opportunities of achieving equality through law and civil society organizing. Juridical approaches, public policies, and programs directed towards adolescent pregnancy have focused mostly on sexual and reproductive rights, leaving other questions about health, housing, and safety at the margins of policy and law.
