Sara Molina
Sara is a senior in Davenport College at Yale University, majoring in Political Science with a focus on international relations, diplomacy, and the globalized economy. The daughter of Colombian immigrants, she is deeply interested in Latin America’s role in international diplomacy and its ties to US foreign policy. Her research currently examines Chinese foreign investment in Latin America, particularly in Colombian development and infrastructure, within the context of deepening divides between the United States and Latin American allies.
Sara has interned at the Yale Tobin Center for Economic Policy, where she contributed to research on healthcare and state fiscal policy, and at the City of Stamford’s Department of Economic Development, supporting local government initiatives. On campus, she served as a Yale College Council Senator for two years and as President of the Davenport College Council. She is driven by a commitment to understanding foreign intervention and the interconnectedness of the global economy in order to help shape Latin America’s future in international relations.
