Brent Bianchi
Librarian for South & Southeast Asian Studies
Before joining Yale, Brent worked at Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan, where he served as Head Librarian and also taught in the Anthropology Program. Similarly, he also previously worked as a librarian at universities in Cambodia and in Thailand. In the early 2000’s, he held fixed-term positions pertaining to South Asia at the libraries of Duke University and the University of Washington. His interests range from paleography to ethnomusicology and much else. Becoming acquainted with Yale’s collections has been a fascinating process for him, and he welcomes queries.
