Daniella Sanchez

Daniella Sanchez majors in Comparative Literature where she concentrates on Spanish Translation, and the History of Art where she is interested in the influences of African, Oceanic, and Mesoamerican arts on European Modernism. She is also pursuing a certificate in French. At Yale, she is Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Literary Translation and Asterisk*: the Yale Undergraduate Journal of Art and Art History. Currently, she is working on her translation manuscript for a book of poems by the Spanish writer Carmen Martín Gaite
