Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants
The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program provides opportunities for young English teachers from overseas to refine their teaching skills and broaden their knowledge of American culture and society while strengthening the instruction of foreign languages at colleges and universities in the United States.
Since 2005, the MacMillan Center has hosted Fulbright teaching assistants for the following less-commonly taught languages: Russian, Kiswahili, Turkish, Yoruba, Zulu, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Hindi, and Portuguese.
