Richard Sosa is the Program Director for the Council on East Asian Studies. He is responsible for the Council’s overall management and implementation of administrative, academic, development, and outreach programming. Previously, Richard served as program manager for the international team at the Yale Office of Development. Richard first came to Yale in 2007 as a graduate student in the Program in the History of Science and Medicine in the Department of History, where he studied the history of medicine in China. Richard completed his undergraduate degree in 2006 at Williams College with a double major in Chinese and history (highest honors). At Yale, Richard is a member of the Steering Committee for the Future Leaders of Yale affinity group and a Fellow of Pauli Murray College.
