Presented by Brent Bianchi. October 23, 2024, 12:00-1:00.
Participants will congregate in the Beinecke lobby and come downstairs to the classroom at 12:00.

This session centers around the display of Southeast Asian manuscripts, maps, and other rare items at the Beinecke Library. The different countries of Southeast Asia will be represented as equally as the collections permit. An overview of the items and their contents will be provided by Sterling's Librarian for South and Southeast Asian Studies, and there will be ample opportunity for participants to circulate through the room and view them on their own during the rest of the session. In addition, if there are materials on Southeast Asia in the Beinecke that you yourself use and would like to do a short 'show and tell' for, please contact brent.bianchi@yale.edu at least two weeks in advance.

Due to limited space in Beinecke classrooms, registration in advance will be required. To secure your place, please write to seas@yale.edu and cc brent.bianchi@yale.edu
